Our training programs are designed to provide comprehensive education in non-medical hypnotherapy techniques, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to become Certified Hypnotherapists through the internationally recognized International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA). It is important to note that in South Africa, the practice of clinical hypnotherapy, which involves the diagnosis or treatment of medical or psychological conditions, is legally restricted to licensed professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and medical doctors, as per the Health Professions Act 56 of 1974.
Students who complete our training programs are certified as non-medical hypnotherapists and are not authorized to diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical or psychological conditions. Instead, our certification focuses on using hypnosis to support holistic wellbeing, personal growth and facilitate positive change within ethical and legal boundaries.
We emphasize the importance of adhering to all applicable laws and ethical standards in South Africa and internationally. Students are encouraged to market their services transparently, making it clear that their practice is non-medical.
